SIN + PRAYER - Week 2 // Inspire Weekly

What is sin, how does it affect our relationship with God and prayer and where is the hope in atonement? This week we tie it all together in our Inspire Weekly.

CREATE IT // Painting Die Cuts

How have you used the creation die cuts in the Creating a Foundation Study?

As we study Genesis 1-3 this week, we see God creating the world and everything in it. Light. Darkness. Animals. Trees and plants. Adam and Eve. God set so many things in motion. Our CREATE IT this week uses the creation die cuts. They are perfect to color or watercolor and would look beautiful on a bible journal layout (stay tuned).

I love being able to to include my kiddos in bible study and teaching, especially when creating is involved, so this week I added a few of their creations from the die cuts. Do you ever invite you kiddos to be apart?

Here is a quick film of my daughter, who loves everything creating and video related, painting the light. To say she was beyond the moon to be filmed is understatement.

My five year old son wanted in on the creation painting, as well, so here are his clouds and few fun animal in his gold / brown boyish color scheme ;)

A few of my pieces I watercolored for my Genesis bible page, coming soon.

OTHER RESOURCES // Atonement by The Bible Project

The Bible Project is one of my favorite visual resources for studying the bible. They have practical and easy to understand videos that explain so much in a short span of time with great illustrations. This week we see are focusing on atonement.

What has the Lord been speaking to you throughout the study? What have you been creating? We would love to share and encourage others with what you are learning and creating as you study. Tag us with #findthejoytoday
